They will continue their work on SMP foam degradation and expand their research skillset this fall.

Bethany is a biochemistry major at Wilkes College. She will be working with Thalma on mechanochromic shape memory polymers this summer.
Dr. Monroe presented on her NIH and DoD funded work related to hemorrhage control in traumatic wounds.
