This grant, in collaboration with Dr. Olga Makhlynets in Chemistry, will support work on antimicrobial hydrogels for wound dressings.

The work was done with Dr. Monroe’s undergraduate mentee, Alexa Easley, at Texas A&M and was published in the Journal of Applied Polymer Science.
