Kat Dong is awarded the Undergraduate Research and Creative Works Grant

Dr. Monroe recieves CUSE Innovative and Interdisciplinary Research Grant.
This grant, in collaboration with Dr. Olga Makhlynets in Chemistry, will support work on antimicrobial hydrogels for wound dressings.
Research published on tough shape memory polymer foams
The work was done with Dr. Monroe’s undergraduate mentee, Alexa Easley, at Texas A&M and was published in the Journal of Applied Polymer Science.
